the time has come, the walrus said
Posted by bon under stuff to be done
it is 11 pm on Thursday night and i, dear friends, am in labour. i sat through book club as the contractions got more and more…um…noticeable, thinking “nah, i’m making this up.” i have since changed my mind. or, at least, the delusions are now forcing me to stop speaking every few minutes or so and try to find my happy place. my breathing place.
we are off to the hospital…and hopefully, we’ll meet our wee boy soon.
wish us luck. back later. ![]()

WOW! The time has come! I accidentally stumbled across this page in the last few days and have read the entries with great interest. I wish you both all the joy in the world!! I’m looking forward to reading the next chapter in this eye-opening “tale”. Good luck with the birth, and may you enjoy every moment of your wonderous little “creation”.

We wish you luck. Actually, you will be fine. It’s Dave who will be a mess.
As my grandmother said to me before our first child was born, relish the time you have left…it will be the LAST time you have complete and total control over him.
We await the exciting news of the arrival of Baby Hubris!
