I slept in a hammock on the coast of Mexico for a week. It was surprisingly comfortable.

I will say, though, my bed is my favorite place in the world. Just this year, my husband and I bought our first mattress together. (Before that, we used hand-me-down mattresses.) We picked a pillow-top model because it felt soooo good. But now I’m kind of regretting it. You can’t hardly find sheet to fit the extra-deep pockets, and when you do, they are super expensive, and nothing in a print, only solids. It also make me extra worried when Fly is on our bed because there’s so much farther to fall. And if I ever get pregnant again, I might just have to sleep on the couch before I’d pole-vault into the bed or risk rolling off the soft sides of the pillow-top!

“scared as i was, i was more scared not to try again”. That hit me more than I can explain, because I have not been in the same situation as you.

I’ve found that in the dark they’re pretty much all the same.
