No experience with asthma- but we’ve seen our share of milk issues.

The Girl was so sensitive to it as a baby that I couldn’t nurse her if there was any dairy at all in my diet. The whole family went dairy free until she was 18 months old, and we’ve been slowly working it back in. She’s almost three now, and other than drinking soy milk still, everything else is back to normal. I can bake with milk again, we can have butter and cheese- mashes potatoes have never been better. :-)

Damn you amazing Maritimers, having a party without me.

And I totally forgot to mention, I used to have asthma and I’ve mostly outgrown it. I occasionally still need need my handy dandy puffer, but only when I get the respiratory crud. I was in and out of the hospital for pneumonia as a wee one, but my lungs do well enough now.

But I don’t have the squizillion dollars it takes to get from Vancouver to Halifax. sniff.

I’m glad Oscar is doing better, but sorry you have to deal with the worry and the allergy tests etc. My 6 year old has a “might grow out of it” problem, too, so I’ll hope with you that time heals all.

My daughter’s asthma is a pain to manage, but we’re figuring it out. I’m certain that you’ll figure out how to keep Oscar well, too.

I get your burning desire to be danced to the ends of love. I saw him on The Future tour back in the mid-nineties. At the time, I figured it would be my last chance. Fancy him coming to Bumblef-ck 1 and 2 of the Maritimes. I’m gonna try to get a ticket here but I’m not optimistic I’ll be successful.
