And you know, I don't think you have anything to figure out for when everything goes right. I understand that it's a freaky feeling this "normalness", this "rightness" - as if something is wrong if everything is right - but I think there's a part of you that just has to let yourself go and give in to it, just as every parent unwillingly has to give in to the fact that, ultimately, making babies (apart from the physical act, but sometimes even that!) is out of your hands.
