I missed this! But remember the conversation...how achingly put this is Bon. Reminds me that someday, I should find my half sister again...but I'm not sure how I'd ever find the words, or if any exist.

I've just found this, after having been given the nod by the wondrous Deerbaby; this is simply outstanding writing.

i read all these perspectives quietly but hungrily. i was quiet, i realize now, because i expected judgement.

Peter, i doubt she'll read it - i don't often put the posts out on FB. i kind of hope she won't read it, really...not that she's not welcome to it, just...if i tried to write it for her it would have been different and a lot more considered. and where would my catharsis have been then? you can only own your own shit in your own voice, i think. ;)

For Emily, Wherever I May Find Her is one of my favorite songs. Thus when I saw the link at Neil's, I had to come.

What an evocative and quietly emotional story of love and loss, beautifully told.

That they looked for you on Facebook speaks volumes. Not mere curiosity, but love.

You are so very real. I don't know, Bon, somehow your realness challenges me to be better.
